Regularise named a Top 100 Changemaker for 2026 ✊🏾

Regularise is honoured to be named one of the Big Issue’s Top 100 Changemakers of 2026.

We began in late 2019 from a place of deep frustration and love for our community — seeing undocumented people erased even in conversations about migrants’ rights, while hundreds of thousands of us were forced to survive without basic rights, safety, or recognition.

Since then, we have organised from lived experience. This is not abstract work for us — it is about our lives, our families, and the futures of those who will come after us.

Regularise is founded and led by people directly affected by the injustices we fight. Through the Migrant Workers’ Rights Coalition that we coordinate, we organise across the full spectrum of migrant workers, including those denied the right to work, because our vision is simple: full rights, dignity, and belonging for all migrants.

That means ending the hostile environment in all its forms — not only for undocumented people, but for everyone forced to live under it.

As The Big Issue writes:

“Every year, we celebrate the people who step forward. The Big Issue 100 Changemakers list is our tribute to those who see what is broken, unjust or overlooked, and decide to act. They do not wait for permission. They do not wait for perfect conditions. They get on with it.”

That is exactly what we have done — and will continue to do.

We welcome this recognition because it shows what our communities have made visible through struggle. But recognition alone is not the goal. Justice is.

We will keep fighting for meaningful and accessible regularisation, equitable routes to settlement and citizenship, an end to the human rights violations inflicted by the State, and for a country where migrants are fully recognised as part of Britain’s story — because we are already part of it.

Congratulations to the fellow changemakers.
Aluta continua. Forward with the struggle.✊🏾

In solidarity,

Regularise Team
